Leigh really had a hard time choosing a new foal after the loss of Calypso but after we had Cliff Swanson visit us he confirmed a decision that Leigh was already leaning towards. So Figuro it is… He is staying with us.
He is up-headed, very showy with good paces and for an Anglo Morgan he actually has a quality Morgan head to boot! Along with that he has a good temperament; friendly and inquisitive. Figuro (or Fred as Brent calls him) has just been weaned so have given him a little break in his training but at this stage he quite happily accepts the halter. Lead work next…

Blue is staying with us; he is Sue’s horse… He is due to be broken in soon, so we will be working on him slowly after that and then he will be out and about. His dam was originally Sue’s horse so it’s keeping it in the family.
Blue is a black Anglo Morgan he has beautiful paces, and is up-headed with good conformation; he stands about 15.2hh. He has a friendly and bold temperament; and is always in the queue for cuddles.
At present he is in charge of the geldings and young colts; and is generally there to teach them the manners they will require in all aspects of their lives.

Solly is still with us, as her new owner has only just recently moved back to New Zealand, and is still sorting out somewhere for her to live. We are enjoying her company while she is still with us anyway.
She is a pretty mare with a gentle temperament, very willing to learn and quiet to handle, Though lighter boned than her brothers she looks like she will get to a good height and has good conformation, she also has well balanced gaits.
At present she is looking after our weanlings for us; with her gentle ways we have found her a calming influence to have with them; it also helps that they will know someone when they join the larger herd.

Diabolo is a Brown Morgan colt. He has a sweet personality and attitude to burn; with good conformation he is up-headed with good gaits and a classic refined Morgan head.
His destiny is to become Dads carriage driving horse… We’re all looking forward to the day we see Diablo and Dad out there doing it. Trouble is someone will have to take over the cone course!
